2nd day of work...still orientation...hee... At Fort Canning today. Hee... hmmm...in a daze today...coz i think i had medicine ( which I got medicine from Raffles Medical FOC from Co welfare) and still drowsy...Think the HR pple really tried really hard to make us enthu...had great tea breaks with siew mai, char siew baos, puffs, tuna croissant etc and a 8-course chinese lunch...=)
tmr will be still in Fort Canning!

I had thoroughly enjoyed these few days although I was sick..hee...
13 Convo
Had a tiring but memorable day. Convocation. Hee... tt morning, I had fever. Alamak. Ate panodol at 5.30 am and wake up at 6.10am. I brought the gown which kk mum helped mi to alter. Went with papa, mama, jie jie to sch...abit jammed at PIE and was panicked as latecomers could not attend it.
Thank you Shuzhen for helping mi get the invitation cards...hehe...for kk to go in the ceremony. The ladies was packed with graduates...Only had 10 to 15 mins to dress up and my jie jie helped mi with those stuff.
The ceremony was fast. jie jie and kk told mi that I was too fast...maybe cannot take a good shot of mi...Haha...I was glad tt the hat din fall down can liao...The last grad receive the loudest applause..hee
Took the opportunity to take photos with family, kk, huilan, uni clique and FYP tutor. The only regret is din take with 'qq, sz, lkw and mi'...our fyp grp..During the running abt and taking of photo...think i recovered..haha...din look sick... Poor kk..was sick and helping mi take photo..din take breakfast at all..by the time we went for food...only "chai poh" was left and I thought tt was glutinous rice..haa...
Went to watch Fantastic 4 with kk at cineleisure...hee..nice...at least i find it nicer than "war of the worlds"..Was rather sick then..sobsob.
14 Chalet check-in
haha...sick pple got preveilaged...wait at McDonald's with yl while sz, jj, esther and diana went to buy stuff. The chalet was just nice i think...like a home like tt...haha...value-for-money. Wait for kk to come after work...haha..i think he more thoughtful than mi lor..bought mosquito coil, lighter (which we forgot)..haha...at nite we played GUESSTURE...Diana was the leading actress..."Box!", "Boxing", "Boxer"...haha
15 1st day of work + Chalet
Got sore throat...got to give introduction to new faces at work...beri pai say tt my voice was like so deep, low...Hope next week I can tok to them with a nicer voice. =) The Raffles Place Coffee Club was nice...prefer the tax pple corner..haha...like same frequency...hee..took group photo..
I filled forms and had goodie bag...with a Green card which entitles mi to c doctor at Raffles Medical FOC. The self-introduction which I can easily do usually, challenges mi tt day with my sore throat...Got to apologise tt I got sore throat...Alamak..a person who look average and voice below average...haha..had lunch with my buddy...Jane..think she is nice and approachable..hee
After early release, yl and mi went to chalet...haha...quite a no of calls..Luckily all thanks to Yuling (my personal interpreter for the day) for all the answering of phone.
I enjoyed the chalet beri much..hee...although I am sick, can't enjoy thoroughly with the food..but overall, I enjoyed it alot!
To Sz and JJ: I really appreciate ur help and effort! I have planned my elder sis 21 b-day chalet b4.. I learnt to take it easy after her chalet as it's not within my control to make everyone happie. All I can do is to be happie and inspire those around mi to be happie too... it's our grad chalet and our clique has enjoyed it thoroughly! I believe others enjoyed it in different ways..Think KL clique had fun with the BBQ..hee..KL's stocking, panty hose also beri funny.....A pity tt some friends din join the game, some friends may be tired ...but it cannot be helped. Hmm.. initially, I also had the same feeling on the Fish & Co day abt roles... I had toked to kk and have learnt to take it easy...No need to take to heart one...coz to others (guests), it's just another chalet.. not a big event..so be light-hearted and I am happier! hee...tt's y I am beri beri beri happie with the chalet even though no voice..haha =) Personally, I think the chalet was quite successful! hee..Cheer up! =)
I believe our clique has enjoyed thoroughly, so I think it's Huilian is always so sporting, loved her cheerful disposition! Diana, Nath and Huilan, although din know all others well...but they are Onz enuff..they join in the fun! Thanks kk for always helping mi in one way or another. Thanks you all for making my day!

Always feel easy with ali, alan, qianming and meixiu..haha..overslept after chalet...took a cab to chomp chomp..haha...ate fish porrigde and sugarcane..hee Fish porridge beri nice...haha...thanks all for accomodating mi with Hokkien mee (non-spicy), non-spicy popiah, sugarcane...etc...haha
Had a great conversation with them..always meixiu so funny, wee lee so caring, qianming so direct and fun, and huilan's face so cheerful. Hee.... hope Hl, wl, and mx enjoy their bangkok trip and gotto prepare my shopping list for them soon..haha...Hope qianming had lotsa fun in Brishban with tw dear dear!

Yest I went to Orchard with Huilan, Shirling and Yuling =) Hee...Yuling wanna go Hollywood Secrets to shape eyebrow (sz recommended) and Shirling also 1st time got her eyebrow plucked outside. Huilan and mi tagged along..hehe... The stylist/eyebrow shaper (dun know wat's the title) was quite pro...at least after 15 min of shaping each..both shirling and yuling are satisfied with her skills..haha...maybe when i got my 1st pay then be like them...more "gao tang"..hee
Then we went to Tangs to c bag and cosmetics...Think the clinique one quite suit mi..hee..Think got to wait for 1st pay then buy le...Then we searched for our bags at Isetan..same one for Huilan, Jenny (HL and Shirling's friend). Hee.. Isetan only had a new piece..so we went to OG to hunt for a 2nd one for Huilan and a 3rd one at Robinson for mi...hee. Shirling and Alan got a white top for convo at Dano.
Then we went to PS to buy sanyo rechargeable battery.Hee...Shared our cripsy chicken...Yummy!
Sunday was also great! KK mum taught mi how to cook...hee...cooking class..Aunt was patient...I learnt how to cook long beans and fried a fish..hee...Satisfied!

kk is a straightforward person...too direct at times... Hmm..he din mind offending others if he feels he's rite.. (which I will not be able to do at times). His direct character sometimes make him look fierce.. like Hamtaro Boss...hee

This evening I supposed to meet sz at 5 to buy jj present. Told kk the previous nite tt I meeting sz earlier. As I have lost my phone, kk called "emily da jie da" to ask if i was with her at around 3pm..when I was still at home using net. So saw kk on msn (haha..seldom c him online) and we decided to meet earlier like 4.30pm so tt I can get my SIM card. Msn him to ask sz for permission nicely to join us..haha...
Dun know y...I always slow slow..like turtle...by the time I was ready..it was already 4.25pm...Alamak..it's like not meeting kk "earlier"..Reached Tamp Interchange at 5.05pm. Din c sz or kk...so I used an 20 cents (no 10cents in wallet) to make a call...the inconvenience of no hp. kk reached in a few mins time...he said meetin sz at tampines mrt..
Saw diana, nath and our Princess Shuzhen with perm hair, a better jaw shape and make-up. She was fairer and had better complexion...with Diana always wanted the fair skin and I always wanted a better complexion..haha...It's a great change! Applause!
Luckily, Diana & nath came with sz. Then I can get my SIM card at ease since Diana & Nath can accompany sz buy present for jj. While kk & I went to M1 shop to get my SIM card, we realised that kk's exisitng lines were not eligible for upgrading of phone. So he paid the 20+ bucks for the replacement of SIM card. Without a plan, phones are all expensive..Somemore I am not a tech gadget person.. Luckily we saw the Singtel Hello Shop...hee...got a phone sellin at 138 for a Panosonic phone with just a hi-card purchase..no contract...it's A200... A cute small phone with coloured screen..haha. Although it dun have those additional features like wat my previous phones have..I think I'm contented with it...haha...kk paid for my phone...Yippee! Actually, I am beri touched...coz he sponsored majority of my aust trip and now he paid 160+ bucks becoz I lost my phone...Thanks dear!

Saw Diana,Nath and Sz and asked them if there were any gd bags for jj..hmm...went to metro to c.. the bag they chose for jj (which is within budget) like a bit dun know wat brand and sort of ex for tt bag...the renoma bag they chose and we liked exceeded the budget...Sz was like "ants on the hot plate"..how?? jj wanna surprise and we still not settled with a bag...Later I accompanied sz to choose bag coz diana went to OP to buy slippers (coz her leg was painful). We cc look look but was in vain..yuling, huishan and huilian except jj call to say they would be late...Alamak...in the end..when jj comes, we still haben decided. Sorry jj if we had disappointed u...But at least we are happy tt u have chose a bag tt you like. Sincerely hope u are happy!
Din Tai Feng got nothing to eat (cannot make reservations earlier also)... the Western Food got no indoor seat...took a smelly but fast cargo lift to B1 Fish and Co. Luckily we settled at Fish & Co. But then hor..dun know y...thought it's our chalet?? Qns which I also anticipated earlier & dun know how to solve (like drinks, bbq stuff, programme) were directed to mi...hmm.....tt's y i thought a meeting with all heads can think better..everyone had a role in the chalet..I understand almost everyone were working, tt's all the non-working ones tried to facilitate more...Luckily, we had most of the ans answered. Hope our chalet will turn out to be enjoyable! Nevertheless, the Superstar Derrick conversation spiced up the atmosphere, we had great laugh with the "Impulse" fang liang qi, the unique jj b-day cake was out! Sz idea of cabbage put in microwave with oyster sauce was creative too! Hee...

Happie B-day to Shijia! Tmr a mini celebration!
Today I guai guai stayed at home..Went to photocopy my transcipt..The bottom says "The word COPY appears when photocopied"...but i dun c it when i photocopied...Fake cert?? haha..Went to call the sch...the person said another person also called...She went to try photocopying a few times and said need to use that "Photo with text" option..haben try it..hope can..Went to bleach some white shirts at home and decide which to wear for my convo on 13 Jul...
In the evening, went for my make-up aerobics. Had an enjoyable time work-out but then hor...my instructor, Juliana told mi a sad news..she said she had cysts near her fallopian tube and goin for operation soon...will take a mth or so before she can come back to teach...Although Juliana does not know me well, I feel for her..I love her jovial character..Even though she does not have any child and had cysts, she is still optimistic abt her future...and ask us not to worry for her...She will be back to the aerobics rm! I have learnt tt life is so unpredictable and tt's y we should live our life to the fullest!

Iora called mi to collect the suit I reserve the other day! Yippee! have stock!Went shopping with Huilan and Yuling at cityhall...I am late again..alamak...sorry to both of u..Went to Mac to see the 89 value-pack cosmetics set sz recommended...Yuling think it's too small for foundation...but i think it's alright...coz it's much cheaper than normal days le. I din buy but it's still in my consideration list. C how much I have left after buying the clothing 1st. Haha..had a joke with our "Giodano"..coz i din c the "Gio" and ask them to go to the "Dano" upstairs in Raffles City..haha...had a great lauff...
Walked to Suntec...hmm..went to Iora to let them c the suit I wanted...but we went to U2, Match, Dano to try clothes. In Dano I tried my clothes and huilan bought one. This is when my sis called mi. Think I misplaced my phone at this time. Then we went to G2000 and back to Dano to buy my purple long-sleeve shirt. After that, in Mango, I realised that my phone was gone...went to G2000 and Dano but nobody saw or admitted. Huilan called my phone..initially it's the ringing...but later it's switched off... It's obvious that the person dun want to return..so no point.KK reservist today.. Called kk since the line is under his name......he only asked mi y lost it & helped mi to suspend the line..hee. Luckily, the phone was not so new...it's abt 2 yrs old at least...if not, I will be beri xin tong..although abit xin tong coz it's my MOST WELL PRESERVED PHONE! Got to get the contacts all over again...hmmm... on chalet day I will!

I love my granny..
She is a beri kind old lady who wished to have a son..Had one but lost him... I luv her becoz she has always doted us (all my siblings) since young.. I admire her..She is hardworkin...helped Singapore built the road in the past and the thrifty nature helped her to save her hardearned money. Now she is a thin, wrinkled lady. I hope she eats more.
I love my mum except for her poor management...
She is caring and loving mummy except when she is frustrated...Her management is poor...unlike my granny...Sometimes I wonder y she can't be like my granny?? Like mommy, like daughter? But that does not apply to her... I love her..but when will she change her bad habits?
Granny loves mum, mum loves mi, mum loves granny and I love both of them...
I have come thus far..I hope that they are proud of mi...I hope to give them a gd life...but things are beyond my control at times.
Will all mothers forgive their daughters when the daughter is in the wrong? Will all daughters forgive their mothers when the mother is in the wrong? I hope the answer is YES... Hopes TIES, LUV & COMPROMISE come to place...
Sad yet relieved is how I feel... I hope everything will be fine...I can't say...But I sincerely hope all things will be alright.=)

Back to Singapore on 30 June...hee.. had fun during our aussie trip...hee... here's a mountain turtle who seldom travels and c snow for the 1st time! I really thank KK, Joyz, Junming and little Qi En for giving mi this memorable experience. The pple in Melbourne were also beri friendly =)

KK, Joyz, little Qi En and mi arrive at Melbourne airport at 1 am and the shops at the airport are all closed. When we stepped out of the airport, there was a chill..haha...It was cold...haha..but we are well-prepared with jackets on. Junming fetched us and we checked in at Maroondah Motel. My concept of motel changed when I saw the room. The room was spacious, similar or larger than a hotel room in Singapore. =)
The morning was welcomed by a big dog at our doorstep...Alamak...I am still abit scared of unfamiliar furry animals...haha...Luckily the dog was obedient and kk fed it with some crumbs of our breakfast. I find the doggie really handsome and smart! We walked to the nearby Boxhill Centro Shoppin Centre...Along the way, I saw trams (a unique characteristics of Melbourne transportation) along whitehorse road..The weather was cooling...like aircon...hee
We bought melon seeds and Junming drove us to Mt Dandenong. 1 hr drive from Melbourne. We fed the colourful native birds with the melon seeds at Sherbrooke Forest. It's fun! Junming said usually tourists compete to feed them...haha...but since winter is an off-peak period...the birds compete to let us feed...We were overwhelmed by them! We had scones at Kallista Tea Rm with jam..Really great taste! Dinner was KK's favourite duck rice near Boxhill..Terrific taste and big portion..hee
17th June Friday
We begin drive and arrive at Bright for lunch in the afternoon. Had whiting (fish and chips). It's fresh. Junming drove along Mt Beauty and saw the entrance to Mt Hotham. He was tempted to drive up Mt Hotham. But as we need to reach Albury by tonite and we din have snow chains on the car, we were unprepared for snow. He was rather disappointed tt we din go up. We reached Albury Townhouse Motel and had Coles Supermkt BBQ chicken..hee
18th June Saturday
We continue our drive to Sydney. Albury is in between Sydney and Melbourne. We reached Canberra in the afternoon and went to the Parliment House.Canberra is the Capital of Oz but it's rather boring there with little shops..we had a difficult time to find makan place. Luckily we found Subway. I shared a footlog meatball with kk..We reached Sydney at abt 7 plus nite. The traffic was much messy and more difficult to drive than Melbourne. Luckily Junming's car GPS helped us to navigate throughout the journey. We reached Pensione Hotel. The quad room was a bit small for the 4 of us plus a baby..We went out to a Vietnamese Restaurant for some Pho (recommended by Junming tt Vietnamese food is nice). But the restaurant in Sydney did not meet to his expectations. KK and I recee around the Coles for our breakfast stuff...Think I prefer Melbourne to Sydney...maybe Sydney seemed too fast pace for mi.
19th June Sunday 
The 1st day of Sydney was fun. I had a Gelato Ice Cream bought from a ice-cream van. We walked from our hotel to Pitt St and then to Opera House and Harbour Bridge.Magnificient view! Just like TV..haha... We had a one and half hr cruise with Vagaboard..As the cruise companies are competing along the quay, their prices are competitive. I would say it's a MUST GO. With only 20 AUD, we had tea/coffee and the 4 of us had around 16 chocolate and carrot cakes (of coz it's the ang mo type..hee).. The view on the cruise was nice with cool breeze. We alight at Darling Harbour and I had my 1st McDonalds in Aussie.
20th June Monday
We bought the daily monorail and lightrail tix. Initially we intended to travel the whole day with tt tix. Board on the monorail at PowerHouse Museum for a complete round and alight at Darling Park. We went to Maritime Museum and had fun taking photos.hee. We were goin to meet Junming and Joyz's friend for lunch at Sydney Fish Market. But unfortunately kk dropped the 4 daily tix (AUD15 each) and we had to pay extra for the lightrail to Sydney Fish Market. 
Although nobody blamed him, I think he felt guilty and kept quiet. It took mi some time to make him his normal self...think food helps...haha...The Sydney Fish Market seafood was fresh and cheap. We had a dozen of oyster for AUD 12... the lobster set was only AUD25...we had lobster, oysters, fish and chips and calamari. As we sat outside facing sea, there were those "Finding Nemo" Birds which always said "Mine, Mine, Mine!"
21st June Tuesday
An intense driving for Junming and Joyz today. We check-out in the morning and planned to reach Bright by this evening. We had lunch at Albury and reach Bright at nite to rent our snowchains (for the car although Junming's car no need to put chains since its a 4 wheel drive but it's a law to have chains in the car when travelling in snow). The Sundowner Motel at Bright was spacious and can accomodate 6 pax. Great place...much better than our Sydney one.
22nd June Wednesday
Yeah! We took an hr drive from Bright to Mt Hotham...
As it was Junming's 1st time driving up the snow area...we were all excited and careful. The 1st glimpse of the snow on the ground made us all excited. We paid AUD27 for the entry car fee. When we reached the carpark, it was like 2 degree C. Cars were covered with snow...hee..so funny...The moment we stepped out of the car...it was cold and glaring..Luckily Yuling's gloves kept us warm and played with snow...As little Qi En was only 3 months old...Junming and Joyz tried hard to prevent her from catchin a cold. We played togobanning and built snowman. Skiing and chairlifts were ex..I think...Anyway we were not prepared to ski in the 1st place...I am really contented with the snowplay! It's fun! Nite time we checked in at Kingsgate Hotel.23rd June Thursday
The morning KK and I went to Queen Victoria Market where there are souvenirs, t-shirts and market. We had hot donuts =) We took the free City Circle Tram and walked to Junming's family winehouse. Joyz accompanied us to go to Crown Casino, Flinders Station and Swanston St to confirm our daytours with APT. At nite, Junming drove us to ST Kilda and we bought our 1st pizza hut near their office...pizza is really cheaper there. 2 large pizza at around AUD14. All else food are ex...haha AUD8 for normal food e.g. a plate of duck rice etc..
24th June Friday
The APT coach picked us at our hotel and drove us to Swanston St where we board our bus to Great Ocean Rd.
The starting of the GOR should be Torquay..hee..we went to Bells Beach for a toilet break. Had kk favourite fish and chips for lunch. The Port Campbell National Park where we had our 10 min helicopter ride to view the spectacular 12 Apostles. A "Seahorse" was also seened. Haha...the person actually forgot to charge us..but we were too blur and honest..and there goes our AUD140 bucks...haha...(dun dare to tell Junming and Joyz as they may say us "sa")..Anyway, we had the ride and the money should be paid in the 1st place..haha. We ran to take photos as we were short of time. Then the next stop was Loch Ard Gorge...i think this should be the place with the 2 survivors story. London Bridge was our next stop. London Bridge is falling down, falling down....I find the APT guide amazing. He has to drive, explain along the drive professionally, spot wildlife koala on tree for us while driving and make tea for us...SuperMan..Drive from 8.40am to 8.40 pm.. 12 hr...Driver cum Guide. Applause!
25th June Saturday
Junming and Joyz brought us to eat Hong Kong style Dim Sum today...Yummy...great variety! Then we arrive at Ace-Hi Wildlife Park to feed the kangaroo...think we were afraid of Emu...Alamak...keep following us for food...The shy deers were cute...being bullied by greedy peacocks which kept snatching their food. My 1st attempt with kangaroo...Think i am still scared of them...although I find them cute... We reached Junming's family farm at nite..I saw a shooting star in the starry nite. Make a wish...Some pple say shooting stars are not gd while others say dreams will come true. I choose to believe the gd side. =) The farmhouse has a fireplace...But the room was beri cold at nite since the house is made of wood and there was no heater except for the small portable one we brought..Blankets did not seem to help...
26th June Sunday
Last nite was too cold that there were ice on ground outside the farmhouse. KK had fun driving the mill and I was there screaming...haha...coz he drive too fast...Like a Formula 1 although it's only 30 km/hr...but seem fast to mi with wind blowing my face...Mr Campbell comment, " the guy's getting braver...but the lady is screaming?" So malu...Mr Campbell was nice to show us around...showing us the performance by the sheepdog running and gathering the 300 plus sheeps, we saw the cows and ox, feeding the 3 pregnant horses and George the pony. The lambs were shy and afraid of pple...we had a plan...a bad one...kk, Junming, Steven, Kathy, Owen and Rocky (Steven's house dog) and I planned to ambush the sheeps...We ran and the sheeps also...Kathy managed to catch hold of one! Alamak, got some wool on her hand...souvenir for her! In the afternoon, kk and I continued driving the mill...we got stuck in the mud..so pai say...got to use the tractor and chain to pull the mill out. Had Vietnamese Pho for dinner...this time the food is much nicer than the one in Sydney!
27th June Monday
Our 2nd tour with APT. Along the way, we can heard some noisy young Singaporeans with their "watlau" slang..hmm...a bit pai say..This time is to the Grampians. Haha..We went to the 
Ballarat Wildlife Park. Saw more kangeroos, koalas there...We went to Halls Gap for lunch and see the Jaws of Death Rock and the Mackenzie Falls were spectacular! Had some Deli choice at McDonalds at Araraf for dinner...haha..din take the guide recommendation as its more ex...Think we were smart as can c some of the young tourists only managed to find the McDonalds after we finished our meal...hee. After the tour, we went to the Crown Casino and see the 10pm "Firework". We had egg chiffon rice at A1 Cafe near Chinatown...Yummy.
28th June Tuesday
Joyz drove us to Smith St and Richmond Bridge Rd to shop for some gifts. Bought some shirts for sis. Then we go to Swanston St to buy some more. Hmmm...think we chose the things for too long and Qi En was hungry and crying. Sorry to Joyz for making her wait. But things were okie. Haha...Along the way to our hotel...saw the horses in the city...Initially I wanted to take picture from far. So I asked the owner for permission. He was friendly and guide mi between them...Hmmm ...All unexpected and I am between them! U can c that I am abit scared..haha...Junming dad treated us to a French restaurant beside our hotel...had course dinner and abit of snails...hmmm..actually taste like normal food.
29th June Wednesday
We checked-out of Kingsgate and Joyz drove us to Boxhill to buy nougats and macadania nuts. We had La Porchetta (recommended by Lynette) for lunch...nice pizza at reasonable price! Went to Westfield shopping centre before going to the Melbourne Airport....Haha...on the flight, watched Robots and Hitch....hee....I'm Back!
